We are a private billing clinic. Medicare does not cover routine chiropractic care, however funded pathways are available through the schemes below.
If you have a chronic condition managed by your GP, you may be eligible for a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (previously called an Enhanced Primary Care plan or EPC). This allows Medicare to contribute toward up to five allied health visits per year.
How it works:
We only bill our standard consulatation rate, even for initial consultations, under a GP Management Plan.
Common conditions that qualify include chronic back pain, neck pain, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal conditions. If you are unsure whether you qualify, ask your GP at your next visit or call our clinic and we can help guide you.
We are proud to support Australia’s veterans and welcome patients covered by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). DVA covers chiropractic services for eligible veterans with an accepted condition, meaning there is no out-of-pocket cost to you.
What you need:
Please get in touch with our clinic before your first appointment so we can confirm your coverage and ensure everything is in order before you arrive. We want your experience to be as smooth and straightforward as possible.
We welcome NDIS participants who have chiropractic care included in their plan. Chiropractic services may be funded under the Improved Daily Living support category of your NDIS plan.
What you need:
If you are unsure whether chiropractic is included in your plan, contact your NDIS planner or support coordinator. We are happy to provide supporting documentation to assist with your plan review if needed.
If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident in Western Australia, you may be entitled to chiropractic treatment funded through the Insurance Commission of WA (ICWA). Treatment must be reasonable and necessary as a result of the accident.
What you need:
Please contact us before your first appointment with your ICWA claim details so we can bill ICWA directly where possible and minimise any paperwork or payments on your end.
Most private health insurance extras policies include chiropractic cover. The rebate amount will depend on your specific policy and fund. We use TyroHealth in-clinic, which means that in 99.7% of cases, your rebate is processed on the spot, and you only pay the gap. Please aim to bring a physical card, as not all digital cards on all devices are accepted.
Check your policy or call your health fund to confirm your chiropractic benefit before your appointment. Common funds we see include Bupa, Medibank, HBF, nib, and HCF. You can view the list of funds that support on-the-spot claiming on TyroHealth's website.
Give us a call on 08 9274 1848 or send us an email and we will help you work out the best pathway before you book. We want to make sure you can access the care you need without any surprises.
